Hal ini bisa dilihat dari kesamaan konsep dari kedua rilisan tersebut. 7 lagu yang diremix oleh beberapa musisi elektronik dari Yunani, Jepang, Norwegia, Skotlandia, Jerman, Amerika Serikat dan Swedia. Konsep kolaborasi selalu menarik perhatian saya karena metode ini mampu menghasilkan sesuatu yang segar dan penuh kejutan. Tengok saja lagu Fin yang digarap ulang oleh musisi yang berbeda dan hasilnya seperti mendengarkan lagu yang memiliki nilai estetis yang berbeda pula. Yang nampak kemudian adalah seperti mendengarkan ocehan seseorang yang menguasai banyak bahasa. Saya memang sedang gandrung dengan band-band indie rock lokal yang eksistensinya hingga kini belumlah populer di tanah air. Sajama Cut adalah salah satu band dari genre ini yang paling menonjol. Namun, sangat menarik untuk Yes No Wave Music untuk merilis karya mereka dalam format elektronik hasil kerja kolaborasi yang lintas batas. (Wok The Rock) English: According to Marcel Thee, Cinema/Eye can be regarded as the B-Side of their latest album L'Internationale. It can be seen from the similar concept used in both albums. Cinema/Eye contains seven tracks remixed by varied electronic musicians from Greece, Japan, Norway, Scotland, Germany, US and Sweden. Using collaboration as a concept always interesting to me for it can produce fresh and surprising aspects. Take Fin, for instance. Being reworked by different musician, it resulted in different aesthetic as well, as if we listen to different song. It is as if we listen to the jabbering of someone with multi-lingual skill. I do like local indie-rock genre which, to these days, is not too popular in Indonesia. Sajama Cut is one among the most-noticed band in this genre. I guess it is intriguing for Yes No Wave Music to release their work in electronic format which derived from cross-over collaboration.
