Liner Notes
This recording was made during practice sessions. The songs provide good platforms for guitar exploration and thematic re-arrangements. Part of the practice is also an attempt hoping to bring ‘new-interpretation’ to each songs. The result, hopefully, would not stray too far from their original meaning.
But even more so, these songs have provided endless knowledge and inspiration about the blues. Not only as musical and guitar-playing knowledge, but also some understanding on what it is about.
All songs are recorded in July, 2009 in Adrian’s study room, and in an apartment living room, straight to a hand-held digital recorder. Compiling this recording and releasing it as free download is an act of tribute to the musical-root that has influenced so many of today’s modern music. Sure it would continue to do good to many people. Enjoy! (Adrian Adioetomo)
